Franchising can be the right opportunity to provide financial and personal freedom, but it is not for everyone. This investigation process allows you to learn about different businesses and then speak with franchisees that are running those businesses to figure out if it is the right fit for you.
It is completely free! A true no cost and no commitment deal. You will not pay me a dime whether you buy into a franchise system or not. I am paid a fee by the franchisors if you end up investing in one.
The answer to this question will be different from person to person. Check out the section on the process. We have to establish your goals and motivations before identifying even the type or structure of franchise that would fit you.
There are thousands of businesses that are franchised out there. Some are obviously much better to get into that others and that's why I work with hundreds, not thousands, spanning many different industries, pretty much everything you can imagine except fast food.
Investment levels vary greatly in this industry. Though, a good rule of thumb is having a minimum of $50,000 liquid capital and $100,000 net worth opens the door to enough high-quality options to look at.
These businesses are not funded with cash typically. I can connect you to franchise funding experts that will help you utilize SBA Loans, 401K rollovers and other tools available to fund a business.
This is referred to as a semi-absentee or executive model business. They exist and there are franchisees doing this very successfully. These are still not passive investments though. It is not like investing in the stock market and even in the most passive models you'll need to have the ability and willingness to spend time on the business.
