The process for What's Next Franchising Consulting
The Process:
This franchise business investigating process is all about YOU. It starts with a get to know you phone call. I want to know about you, your family and YOUR GOALS. I’m happy to answer questions and talk about some of the franchising basics. At this point in my journey, franchising to me was McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. No one was more ignorant than I was so there are truly no bad questions.
If you’re still interested in learning more the next step is filling out a Confidential Questionnaire and scheduling a consult. During this consult we will build a model of how a franchise business will serve you and your goals. We will address your preconceived notions about franchising and get deeper into all of your desires, likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses as they pertain to the general structure and characteristics of a business. This will lock us in to what you’re really looking for and why.
The next step is matching. I will get to work on finding available franchises that fit the model we have created. I’ll then present these businesses to you and the fun begins!
Investigation is up next. You’ll start interacting directly with the businesses to learn the ins and outs. I will be there every step along the way to help. I will prepare you for each step and provide resources helping you understand the right questions to ask the brand and its existing franchisees during validation.
Doing due diligence at this point is the most vital part of investigating opportunities. Fear will start creeping in as it does with any major decision. I’ll be there to help point you the directions to address that fear. No ignoring it, but rather gathering more data to either meet and exceed the fear to move beyond, or not.

They get immense value out of you going through this process so by the time I make the connection they know they are getting a qualified, quality, ideal fit to be a franchise partner for them.
